Guastalla College in Monza

Windows as a bridge between past and present.

The Villa Barbò Pallavicini in Monza, now home to the famous Guastalla College, dates back to the early 19th century. It was in clear need of new, sealed windows that would retain the original aesthetic. Finstral supplied just the right products for the job: in visual terms, the white PVC windows are almost indistinguishable from the old, white-painted wooden models, while in terms of thermal insulation and sealing, the PVC in the core, coextruded centre seals, welded corners and laminated safety glass all ensure that they offer noticeably better insulating and sealing properties.
Finstral demonstrated its strengths not only with its consistent modularity, bespoke aesthetics, innovative functionality and smart installation methods: the high degree of flexibility and cooperation demanded by this project also decisively contributed to the successful replacement of the windows. Finstral in this way succeeded in turning windows into bridges – connecting past, present and future.
