Office building in Turin

Finstral replaced 150 elements on a historic office complex in the centre of Turin: categorised by the city as a “characteristic historical building”, its imposing style has been preserved. The windows in particular manifest this, with their round arches, panels, glazing bars, large glass surfaces of up to 4.5 metres in height, and brown frames and shutters.

The installation situation was especially interesting: some 50 years ago a second, newer surrounding frame with sash had probably been mounted on the original frame. The sash therefore first had to be removed along with the surrounding frame that had been fitted at the time in order for the original frame to be used as an installation frame. The replacement could then be carried out quickly, with no dust and dirt, meaning that the premises were soon ready for use again: the windows simply had to be cleared. Installation was carried out in a quiet, discreet and unobtrusive manner.
