Volksbank Tübingen refurbishment

The authentic exterior of the Tübingen head office of the “Volksbank in der Region” cooperative bank, refurbished in 2021, is largely owed to Finstral's ability to respond to practically any building situation. The challenge posed by this listed structure was to preserve the original look of the historic building while optimising its functional performance. Round-arch, circular and traditional window shapes, complemented by FIN-Vista window walls with subtly orchestrated glazing bars, ensure that the nineteenth-century round-arch style retains its vibrancy and blends harmoniously with the modern façade components.
The slim aluminium sash profiles on the interior and exterior add a light touch to the formal richness while Sablé Anthracite tones with their slightly grainy texture vouch for vivid reflections. At the same time, our uPVC profiles, always corner-welded with optimum insulation values in the core, deliver uncompromising functional performance.
