Apartment building in Bozen

A residential refurbishment in the heart of Bozen involved the replacement of windows and hinged shutters. The key priority was to preserve the original charm of the old building.

Here, windows from Finstral’s Slim-line design range proved the ideal choice: apart from admitting ample daylight into the interior by virtue of their slim, angular profile, they also blend perfectly with the building’s historic character – which is accentuated by the attached glazing bars of the ground-floor windows and the angled and arched windows on the remaining storeys. The green hinged shutters provide maximum visual privacy and solar protection while respecting the style and adding a colour accent to the yellow façade. Finstral’s windows and shutters thus helped preserve the building’s historic allure while at the same time upgrading its functional performance.
