Aluminium cladding on the exterior further improves PVC windows. Why? Because aluminium offers the maximum choice of colours and is at the same time highly heat-resistant. That is why this light metal always remains dimensionally stable, even for dark colours. And what about the window’s interior and core? PVC, our all-round talent, offers the best insulation values, is easy to maintain, durable and ideal for recycling. Finstral has been making PVC-aluminium windows since 1985. And we do everything ourselves – from the frame profiles and the insulation glass through to the installation standards. A modest Grey or Fir Green? Our through-dyed PVC profiles are available in 11 high-quality colours and surfaces. You can choose from 230 colours and five different wood decors for the design of the aluminium exterior. In contrast to other manufacturers, Finstral in principle only offers dark tones in the form of aluminium cladding, rather than painting or affixing a film on a PVC frame. On the one hand, aluminium is much more resistant to scratches and bumps compared to paint or film. On the other, it is dimensionally stable up to 500 degrees, while dark PVC can become so soft when hot that the frame may distort. Finstral’s dark frame colours thus always remain both attractive and functional.

Traditional or restrained modern style? How should your PVC-aluminium window look? Finstral lets you choose just the right profile from five sash variants – irrespective of whether you are building or renovating. The window outline is a defining feature for the façade of a house, so it is vital that your new window and your architectural style are a perfect match for each other. What do all our frame designs have in common? They are individually made to measure and are always the narrowest in their category.

Why are Finstral windows so special? Because we make everything ourselves. PVC profiles? We develop them ourselves: always with a centre seal and outstanding insulation values. Insulation glass? We make it ourselves: from high-quality glass with thermally insulated, corner-welded spacers. Assembly? We take care of it all ourselves: to the highest quality standards, e.g. because we always bond the insulation glass with the frame instead of simply gluing it. And as for installation? We have a clearly defined procedure: we have ift-approved drawings of structural joints and precise installation instructions. Each installer must also receive regular training from us. This perfect combination, with everything from one source, means we can always achieve the best insulation values for our windows.

Innovative: installation.

Are the windows to be plastered into the masonry? Finstral windows too are still installed in this way. But we prefer to offer one of our innovative and straightforward installation methods – no masonry work required. Slide-on installation allows us to replace the window in just two hours – without any dirt or building work. And, for new builds, we recommend the use of our thermally insulated mounting frames. These are plastered into the masonry of the shell, with your window only installed following the dirty building phase. This protects it from damage.
