Single-family house near Brussels

This 1970s house was refurbished in the 1990s, then modernised a second time in 2025, among other things by means of a window replacement. The finished product features windows with a highly innovative aesthetic – the dark aluminium frames lending the building a contemporary elegance. In the interior, the black window outlines add a bold accent and frame the view of the garden while, on the outside, they blend harmoniously with the vernacular brick architecture.

The Nova-line frame, as the slimmest in its category, vouches for maximum daylighting and outstanding insulation, with the greater glass and lower frame area serving to boost insulation performance. Insulation and weathertightness are further optimised by the co-extruded middle gaskets, full-perimeter-bonded panes and weatherstripping fixed to the sash profile. The windows thus combine a contemporary aesthetic with improved energy efficiency.
