Passive house near Madrid

This modern single-family house is the first certified passive building in Soto del Real, north of Madrid. Compliance with the Passive House standard resulted in a functional, energy-efficient residential building. Planning was heavily oriented towards bio-climatic concepts: in this way, the orientation of the house and the optimum use of light incidence helps to minimise the environmental impacts and energy consumption. Particular attention was paid to high quality and professional installation standards in the selection of components. The PVC windows and lift-and-slide doors combine outstanding design and perfect functionality: the all-glass look covering the frame of the Nova-line windows goes hand-in-hand with the triple glazing and RC 2-tested safety standard. The angular appearance of the modern building is softened by the classic lines of our FIN-Slide lift-and-slide doors. The PVC core ensures excellent insulation values.
