ForRes; a word made up from the English “for” and “resistant” or “recycling”
A so-called upcycling material, it is obtained from PVC offcuts from Finstral’s in-house production combined with rice husks.
What is the result of combining two residual substances? A new and, in this case, high-quality material. For its ForRes recipe, Finstral recycles PVC waste from its own window production and mixes the granules with rice husks that come for example from the production of risotto rice. The result is particularly durable, shock and impact resistant and only slightly weathers. The surface has a fine, open-pored structure and a natural feel. This innovative material is colour-fast, easy to maintain and can be 100 percent recycled. Finstral is the first manufacturer to use the ForRes mixture to create window frames for the room side and sliding shutters for the outside.
