For the website

This document contains the privacy policy of Finstral AG (the company operating the website concerning the protection of personal data and aims at an accurate description of how the personal data of users is treated and processed when they visit our website.
Furthermore, the following information adapts art. 13 of Legislative Decree no.196 of 30 June 2003 and is intended for users of services that we offer on our website and may be accessed online. The information given here is not valid for other websites that may be accessed via links from our site. Finstral AG does not accept liability of any kind for such websites.
The following statements are based on Recommendation no.2/2001 of the European Data Protection Commissioner for the protection of personal data, adopted on 17 May 2007 in accordance with art. 29 of Directive no.95/46/EC, and in particular concerns the collection of personal information on the internet. The statements aim to establish the minimum measures to be taken in respect of affected persons and thus to guarantee the equity and legitimacy of such practices (thus applying arts. 6, 7, 10, 11 of Directive 95/46/EC).

System administrator
Pursuant to articles 31 et seq. and art. 154, section 1, paragraphs c) and h) and the regulations of the minimum technical safety measures as stated in Annex B, and to the mandatory measures and precautions concerning data processing by electronic means dated 27 November 2008 (G.U. [Official Gazette of the Italian Government] no. 300 published on 24 December 2008), and to the terms of agreement, the computer centre manager has been appointed pro tempore as system administrator.

According to art. 7 of Legislative Decree no.196/2003, affected persons who have submitted personal data have the right at all times to receive confirmation on the availability or non-availability of such data, to receive information regarding their content and origin, to examine their compliance with actual conditions, or to demand that data be supplemented, updated or changed.
Such persons furthermore have the right to demand the deletion, conversion into anonymous form, or blocking of unlawfully processed data, as well as to object to their processing on justified grounds.

Location and purpose of data processing
The processing of data linked to the web services offered on these sites [physically hosted by Brennercom AG ( in Italy] is performed at Finstral AG headquarters and carried out exclusively by the staff, employees or partners of Finstral AG appointed for this purpose, or by persons tasked with occasional maintenance work.
The information collected from web services will not be circulated.
The personal data provided by users or submitted for service requests will be used solely for the provision and performance of the services requested and will not be communicated to third parties (for instance to our authorised dealers) where such transmission is not part of the requested service, nor required by law, nor absolutely necessary for the performance of such requests.

Typology of data processed
Navigation data
The software procedures necessary for the functioning of this website collect certain personal data during normal operation. Transmission of such data is exclusively for the purposes of the internet communication protocol. This information is not collected in order to associate it with identified individuals but could, on account of its nature, permit the identification of users through its processing and linking with data held by third parties. Such data include the IP addresses or domain names of computers used to connect to the website, URI addresses of requested resources, the time when a request was made, the method used to submit a request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the server reply (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the computer configuration of the user. Such data are collected solely for the purposes of anonymous statistical information during the use of the website and to ensure its correct functioning: they will be immediately erased following processing.
The data in question may be used to ascertain liability in the event of a criminal offence, especially where damage is caused to our website. Apart from such scenarios, data will generally not be saved for longer than 7 days.
