Type of data handled

Navigation data:

During normal use, the computer systems and software procedures provided for the functioning of this website acquire certain personal details, the transmission of which is inherent in the use of Internet protocols and communication.

This is an information which is not collected in order to be associated to identified persons, but due to its very nature may, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow the users to be identified.

This type of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by visitors connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameter relating to the operating system and the user's computer set-up.

These data are only used for the purposes of obtaining anonymous statistical information on use of the site and to check its correct functioning. They are immediately eliminated after processing.

The data in question may be used to verify liability in the event of computer fraud causing damage to our site: except for this possibility, as a rule, data on web contacts are not stored for longer than seven days.

Data supplied voluntarily by the user:

The optional, express and voluntary sending of eMails to the addresses indicated on this site in itself involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, needed to respond to the requests, as well as any personal data included in the eMail.

Specific brief and/or complete notices are included on the pages of the site relating to special services on request.

We would ask our users, when requesting services or sending enquiries, not to send names or other personal data of third parties unless strictly necessary; it would be much more appropriate to use invented names.

The so-called session cookies used on this site avoid using other IT techniques which may adversely affect user's confidentiality when navigating and do not allow acquisition of the user's personal identification details.

Failure to provide the data means that it is impossible to obtain the service requested.

Specific security measures are followed to prevent the loss of data, unlawful or improper use and unauthorised access.
